The historic Branford House at Avery Point in Groton was the perfect backdrop for Michelle & Andrew’s wedding day. The couple spent the early morning together before Michelle headed out to meet her friends for hair & make-up. Michelle & Andrew, along with their bridal party, readied themselves for the event across the hall from each other. Michelle and her friends were laughing and listening to Disney tunes while having their turns for hair and make-up. The mood was quite relaxed, especially for the guys across the hall. After donning their outfits everyone headed out together for the Branford House where preparations were well underway. After Michelle slipped her dress on we gathered the group up for portraits in and around the historic building and then it was time to relax until the ceremony.
Michelle rode a horse drawn carriage through the grounds at Avery Point to be escorted down the aisle by her father. Their ceremony over looked the water and they took part in a sand ceremony with their family members. It was such a nice way to represent the intertwining of their new family! The newlyweds shocked their crowd during their awesome, choreographed first dance. They were all cheering as Michelle and Andrew finished their dance with a dip. Their inspired guests took to the dance floor as soon as the music started and the party roared on through the evening. As the sun sank in the sky we took Michelle and Andrew out into the yard to capture the warm glow of the sky with their warm love for each other.
Congratulations Michelle and Andrew! Thank you for sharing your big day with us- we wish you many years of joy and love!
