Jody and Sara planned a beautiful spring wedding at their church in Philadelphia so everyone was so excited that the dreary wintery weather was no where in sight. The sky was blue, the sun was shining and even the cherry blossoms started to bloom in perfect timing for their special day. Sara started her day with her family and friends. They relaxed while having their hair and make-up done. The guys spent the morning laughing and the big joke was about Jody being camera shy. The friends paraded their “camera ready” Jody-on-a-stick but Jody was ready! His face lit up when he saw Sara being escorted down the aisle and Sara was all smiles too. They shared their first kiss and a sweet moment together before serving communion to their guests.
After their meaningful ceremony they headed off for a quick stop in front of Philadelphia’s City Hall where everyone climbed onto the median in the center of the street to grab a few photos in the iconic spot. Sara and Jody love Philadelphia and incorporated it into their day – the handcrafted cake topper was one of my favorite touches! At their reception the newlyweds preformed a special, choreographed first dance. The rest of the evening was spent on the dance floor along side their friends and family – the band had everyone wanting to dance!
Congratulations Sara & Jody – we’re so glad to have been part of your beautiful day!
