Tim is a traveler, a gear head, computer nerd and a foodie. He enjoys experiencing different cultures through food as well as traveling and seeing how others live. Tim likes sightseeing and wandering through new landscapes and cityscapes. For Tim it helps put his life and priorities in perspective. He enjoys his “toy car” a Subaru SVX and talking shop on the forums with other SVX owners. He loves being able to take his car for spin and laughs at the looks he gets from driving such such a unique car.
Tim truly discovered his passion for photography during his years at Rutgers University. He loved the art he was able to create and was constantly working to better his own work. He broke down the work of others who inspired him and learned what worked and what didn’t work and how he could apply it to his own craft. With the inspiration of his friend Don he took a leap and began his own photography business. Don helped Tim every step of the way, from getting his first client to preparation and workflow as he worked from referral to referral honing his skills through out the years. He loves that with a career in photography you can never reach your peak and that there is always something new to learn. Though Don is no longer with us Tim knows he’d be proud of the things he has accomplished and works to keep living the dream Don inspired.
Ashley is a collector, crafter and a beer connoisseur. She appreciates the creativity that one must use when custom making furniture, home decor, and jewelry. The ability to construct something herself expresses her creativity as well as gives her the opportunity to make things truly unique. Her current obsession is vintage cameras and she boasts a variety of over 30 cameras in her collection including Kodak Brownies and Polaroid instant cameras. You’ll see her shooting with a few of them and using a few others as decoration!
Ashley first discovered she really enjoyed photography during a Photo I elective course during her fine arts study at Central Ct State University. It was a semester where she was taking 3 studio courses and her work load was very heavy. She realized when she spent the majority of her free time with her Minolta 700 in her hands that photography was something truly special to her. With encouragement from Tim she took that first big step and began to discover her true passion for photography. Though she had photographed plenty before working with Tim their first wedding together was a moment that changed her life. With Tim’s guidance she saw that photography was absolutely what she needed to be doing in her life. She loves incorporating her fine-arts background into her work and she is constantly striving for more and better from herself – something she learned from her inspiration, Tim.
